A proliferation of new public
buildings accompanied the
construction of residential
buildings. The central post
office, the Hebrew Univer-
sity and Hadassah Hospital
on Mount Scopus, the
Rockefeller Museum and the
King David Hotel, are but a
few of the buildings that
were erected.
